Steven Lentz created BTMS to serve the greater Tarrant and Johnson county areas in 2020. He is the primary instructor for guitar, voice, uke, and combo. Steven has been a full-time worship minister for the past 20+ years, serving at Meadowridge Community Baptist Church in Fort Worth since 2006.

 

In addition to his local lessons, Steven served as music director (4 yrs) and private instructor at Epicenter for the Arts in Southlake for 6 years. While there, he taught guitar and voice, including group vocal coaching and various musical theater and worship camps.

Steven holds a BA in Music from Hardin-Simmons University and a MA in Worship Leadership from Dallas Baptist University. With formal training in both classical technique and modern contexts, Steven loves giving students the best of both worlds. His teaching strength is tailoring his approach to fit each student’s individual passions and interests in music. Steven has been married to his wife Kristie for 20 years, and they have two children, Will and Olivia.
